The TeraViks are a FIRST Robotics Competition Team, offering unique STEM learning opportunities to Coeur d’Alene youth through a hands-on approach towards Entrepreneurship, Programming and Engineering.
The Teraviks got their start in 2009, when the son of the Founding Mentors wanted to get into robotics. It was a rush of a year, as the the team not only won the Rookie All Star Award, but also qualified for the FIRST World Championships in Atlanta. The TeraViks returned to the World Championships in St. Louis in 2013.
The TeraViks are aiming to make 2015 another return to the FIRST World Championships by adding the Engineering Inspiration Award to the shelf.
